Can I cancel after booking?
We have a 5-day "cooling-off period" policy. This means that if you need to cancel within 5 days of signing the lease, you can do so as long as you haven't moved in yet. If the "cooling-off period" has passed, you can still cancel under certain circumstances, such as if your UK visa is denied or you fail to meet the entry requirements of your chosen university. You just need to provide the UCAS notification or visa rejection document within 72 hours of receiving the relevant notice. If you find a suitable replacement tenant, you can transfer the lease to them. We will conduct a qualification review, and once approved, they can take over your lease agreement.

What should I do if my student loan is late?
If your student loan payment is late, please contact the accommodation team at your location for advice.
How do I pay my rent?
You can make a payment by logging into the Concurrent Portal with your reference number and password. Payment methods available include direct debit or bank transfer.
As an international student, how should I pay my rent?
As an international student, you can pay your rent through bank transfer (Transfermate) or credit card (please note that credit card payments may incur transaction fees). For more information, please refer to your booking documents or contact the accommodation team.
Can I bring pets?
We love pets, but unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the accommodation area, unless they are registered service animals.
Does my room include bedding and other essentials?
Our room is empty, and you can arrange it according to your needs. If you need bedding or kitchen supplies, we have partnered with unikitout.com, and you can purchase the items you need directly from them, with delivery to your door. Use code NOW10 to enjoy a 10% discount.
Can I let my friend stay in my room?
You can invite friends to stay, but each resident can only have one overnight guest at a time, and they cannot stay for more than two consecutive nights. These activities should not cause disturbance or trouble to other residents.
Will my apartment be cleaned?
When you arrive, we will ensure that your student room and shared areas are spotless. After that, you will be responsible for the cleaning. If you need assistance, please feel free to contact the accommodation team.
What should I do if there's a problem with my room?
If your room needs repairs, you can submit a maintenance request through the Concurrent App, and the accommodation team will address your issues as soon as possible.
Can I smoke in the dormitory?
All of our student accommodation areas prohibit smoking. You may smoke in the designated smoking areas outside the building or in the courtyard.
How do I connect to the internet?
Connecting to the internet is easy: once you arrive, just connect your device to the wireless network. You can also use an Ethernet cable to connect your device to the network wall socket in the room, if needed.
What things am I not allowed to do in the accommodation?
For health and safety reasons, we do not allow the use of candles, oil burners, deep fryers, or any electrical appliances that do not meet UK standards and regulations. Electric scooters or similar devices are also not permitted. Please do not bring these items into the dormitory.
Who will enter my room?
We conduct room inspections three times a year and carry out health and safety checks periodically; however, we will notify you at least 24 hours in advance.
What size is my small double bed?
A small double bed (also called a 3/4 bed) is about 120 centimeters wide and 190 centimeters long.
Can I bring a rice cooker or an electric pressure cooker?
Sorry, we do not allow rice cookers or electric pressure cookers, as their high voltage may pose safety hazards.
Is there an airport pickup service?
We do not provide airport pickup services, but our dormitory location has great transportation connections, making it easy for you to take a bus, train, or taxi. If you need assistance arranging transportation, feel free to contact the accommodation team.
What should I do if I need to leave before the end of the lease?
If you need to leave early, we may offer lease takeover options. It's best to contact the housing team directly for the latest information.
Can I receive the package?
Depending on your location, your mail may be delivered directly to your door (via Royal Mail), or you may need to pick it up from a nearby mailbox. For larger packages, they can be delivered to the reception, but we cannot be held responsible for any lost or damaged packages.
Can I/my friend park in the dormitory?
Most of our dormitories do not have designated visitor parking spaces, but there are parking lots in the surrounding area. Please contact the team at your chosen accommodation for more parking information.
How do I do the laundry?
All dormitory buildings have self-service laundries equipped with washing machines and dryers. You can pay per use for these facilities through an app.
