According to local rental laws, you must notify the apartment management at least 28 days before the end of the rental period (or according to the time limit set by apartment rules/contracts) regarding whether to terminate the lease, along with the exact moving-out date. Failure to respond in a timely manner may result in personal responsibility for any consequences.
